The relationship between affect and the body with its organs is at the center of "BOYNCIANA". Referring to Paul Preciado's essay "The Hot War", Johanna Bruckner conceives the world as a metabolic system that is neither binary nor patriarchally organized and hosts a translocal body conference with non-normative sculptural organs in das weisse haus. These newly produced works convey her understanding of a “different" Europe as a metabolic system that thwarts the hegemonic order and opens a space for the affective and sensual.
