ORF Long Night of Museum's
On Saturday, October 3rd, 2020, this year’s "ORF Long Night of Museums" takes place throughout Austria. The ORF is initiating the cultural event for the 21st time – around 730 museums and galleries are involved this year and are opening their doors to culturally interested revelers from 6 pm to 1 am.
In addition to varied exhibitions, many exciting and specialized events are on offer. Visitors can choose their personal highlights from the rich offer and visit all participating houses and events with just one ticket. In addition to small and curious, and large and renowned cultural institutions, many new locations are waiting to be discovered by the "Long Night" visitors.
The gathering place for all visitors is the “Treffpunkt Museum”, or the “Museum Information Point”, where most of the foot and bus routes originate from.
At each “Treffpunkt Museum” tickets, booklets with extensive information on the program offers and information on the foot and bus routes of the “Long Night” are available.
Tickets are available at all participating museums and cultural institutions, and can also be purchased at the Museum Information Point, situated in every state capital, on the night itself.
Ticket prices are € 15.— (regular ticket) and € 12.— (reduced price for Ö1 Club members, school children, students, senior citizens, disabled persons, and males in their obligatory term of military or civilian service). Regional tickets are € 6.— and entitle tickets holders to admission to regional museums. Free admission for children aged 12 and under.
