Every year the Kunsthistorische Museum Wien invites five representatives of modern and contemporary art to look at the collection and to talk to the public about the meaning of the works for them personally and the history of art.
Roberta Smith is an art critic living in New York and has written for The New York Times since 1986. She is the 2003 winner of the College Art Association’s Fran Jewett Mather Award for Criticism.
Jerry Saltz is an American art critic. Since 2006, he has been senior art critic and columnist for New York magazine. Formerly the senior art critic for The Village Voice, he has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in Criticism three times.
The conversations will be held in English.
