Light my Fire – Campfire music, bar and finissage / Bonfire Music

Once valuable and uncontrollable, we have now tamed the fire, can ignite it at any time with small aids. Nevertheless, there is always a spark of danger that is beyond our control. So it is not surprising that fire stands for very different states and emotions.

The works on display are as multiform and ambivalent as fire itself. They oscillate between danger and cosiness, passion and devotion. Others point to the community-building quality of fire, or make use of its renewing function, play with its processuality and temporality.

We gather around the artificial campfire – drinking, listening to music and enjoying the works of the exhibition one last time. Come and join us!
