Art and Healing: Restor(y)ing the body

From December 14 to 21, the festival COOK, EAT & CLEAN explores the art of healing at Kunstraum eindorf.

For the second time, the Kunstraum eindorf is hosting the COOK, EAT & CLEAN festival. This year, the focus is on the theme Art and Healing: Restor(y)ing the Body, with the body taking center stage from December 14 to 21. Vienna-based choreographer Linda Samaraweerová curates the seven-day program featuring performances, workshops, lectures, and a multi-day laboratory. The event poses questions about the body in the context of spirituality, ethics, art, and healing. National and international contributions approach the idea of "re-storying" the body from diverse perspectives. Linda Samaraweerová is particularly fascinated by the intense encounters between artists, musicians, doctors, and scientists. Visitors are invited to explore new perspectives on the body and spiritual knowledge in a moving and engaging atmosphere.

The program includes artistic works by choreographers Ondine Cloez (France), Kotomi Nishiwaki (Japan/Spain), Venuri Perera (Sri Lanka), and Zwoisy Mears-Clarke (Jamaica); Indian filmmaker Ujjwal Kanishka Utkarsh; Russian writer and director Ivan Strelkin; and a concert by the Czech band Mantrovníci, all embedded within lectures, workshops, and discussions — with small tastings included.
