VAW: Dimensions Variable# (2018/1)

With the third edition of the exhibition series "Dimensions Variable #", the project sublimates into a new formal state, with the option of acting as a meta-level of different spatial contexts in the future.
In Vienna, there is hardly a more suitable place for this than the Danube in the seventh district - a fixture of the Viennese techno scene for 30 years and at least as long as one persistent rumors, former Jewish prayer house. Probably just the showroom of a piano manufacturer at the turn of the last century.

But what was the last turn of the century? At that time, in a sense, Vienna was what it always wanted to see: the center of the world in the heart of Europe. At least in the area of ​​sound art, hardly anybody was able to provide enough water for the local sound researchers worldwide, which is reflected in the still high quality in this area - almost 20 years after the legendary phonotactic festivals in Vienna and New York.

So the circles close when "Dimensions Variable #" (2018/1) by a representative of that electronic avant-garde, FALM (FON, the now unit, Discozma, etc.) with a set of his compositions for church, film, radio drama and waltz The rest of the night will be played by Karl Salzmann and Paul Gründorfer, who have been holding the flags of Vienna as a center for sound art for 3 years with their "Zentrale". As an antipole, another phonotactic veteran DJ hoec will publish a true-to-law strictly vinyl, slowdancing, psychodelic cabbage-and-rueben disco set.
