The exhibition “Kabbalah” traces the historical development of Jewish mysticism. By juxtaposing traditional, historical, and contemporary objects, the exhibition follows the traces left by the Kabbalah in the most diverse contemporary art forms (painting, sculpture, design, literature, film, music). Since their influences can be found in virtually all forms of art, it is legitimate to ask what makes the Kaballah so fascinating. Chief curator Astrid Peterle addresses this question together with the two curators of the exhibition, Domagoj Akrap and Klaus Davidowicz, as well as the exhibition designer Conny Cossa.
