Paradise Girls

As part of the Vienna Art Week, titled Promising Paradise, four contemporary female artistic positions will be on display. Paradise Girls takes up the paradisiacal theme of the Vienna Art Week, suggesting that paradise can often be considered feminine. For this reason, Die 4 Graces, Edelgard Gerngross, Sophie Tiller and Val Wecerka show their works in harmony. The female in art should also be emphasized with this exhibition. For a long time, women in art have only played the role of the muse and the model, and curator Ursula Tuczka attaches particular importance to highlighting the festivities as serious artists to which this event seeks to contribute.
