The works of Katharina Reich's ONE minute DRAWINGS series have their roots in the wanderlust of the artist.
Earlier work was strongly influenced by childhood violence, whose processing led to an artistic realignment. The works offer a view to a new attitude in dignity. In Los Angeles, actually since 2017, the series of one-minute drawings started. They have their origin in the here-and-now and are an expression of the inner purification of the artist.
The works are quasi time slices with objects of daily life, which the artist creates with what she finds. This spontaneity is immediately banned and captured on paper.

The audience gains an insight into the moment, into the perception of everyday life through Reich's gaze, and creates a new context by letting one's own objects become a work of art in the here-and-now. The artist draws everyday objects of the audience in the performance. A performance with art interaction emerges, which poses the question: what does the here-and-now look like in love?
