Musik Video Programme with Focus on Pattern and Decoration and Vertigo at mumok: Collapse

Referring to the two exhibitions in mumok - "Pattern and Decoration" and "Vertigo" - this programme presents music videos that focus on ideas of patterns and decorations as well as illusions. These range from very striking, oriental-looking patterns on walls or textiles to abstract structures and spaces that constantly create (re)create, dissolve and shake our senses up to choreographic patterns. In addition to purely decorative and playful elements questions about cultural appropriation and feminist demands are asked.
