ImPulsTanz 2018: Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods – Solos and duets

Originally from the US, Meg Stuart (Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, Biennale Danza Venice 2018) is based in Brussels and Berlin. She is an artist who has beamed dance to a new level since the 1990s. So, after more than 25 years of unique creations, it’s about time to take a look into the widths and depths of her oeuvre. This is done by way of a selection of solos and duets accompanied by live music, including Signs of Affection and Inflamável as well as excerpts from such influential pieces as No One Is Watching and UNTIL OUR HEARTS STOP, among other things. A wild, poetic evening between inner turmoil and explosive ecstasy.
