Ethiopian music legend Hailu Mergia played legendary 12-hour concerts with his band Walias in the 1980s, mixing funk, traditional music and Ethio-jazz. About 30 years later reissues of the band's music led to new fame. Now, Mergia has a new album out and starts his tour in Vienna. A live experience of a special kind.
