GEORG SALNER The Alphanumerical Monsters

Against the background of a world steeped in digital images, algorithms and big data, Georg Salner's exhibition in pictorial space 07 refers to the most important foundations of our communication culture: the Greek-Latin alphabet and the Indo-Arabic number series. This transformed over thousands of years "formal beings" and the artist floating in a new twelve -part panel series idiosyncratic and inventive in black and gold constellations. For this purpose, some thematic precursor images and a 'contextual' wall work, which forms an installative counterpoint, are grouped together.
