Building a Beautiful Future
In their exhibition Beauty, Sagmeister & Walsh create a sensual appeal for the enjoyment of beauty. They engage all the senses of the visitors and their exhibition is spreading across the entire MAK at the Stubenring. In doing so, they want to make beauty become tangible as a central, functional aspect of appealing design but also show that beauty is more than merely a superficial strategy.
Central to the MAK FUTURE LAB is the question how architecture can contribute to an increased quality of life and which role beauty plays in this context.
