Anna Vasof about her work:
"My work is universally accessible through its wit and mischief. It is based on real experiments with the core mechanisms of movement and time-based art. I get to the bottom of daily-life questions - reinventing core premises from my own perspective. My non-stop stop-motion work reinvents a contemporary expanded cinema and deals with the poetic mechanics of the perseverance of seeing. My work deals with everyday objects, such as shoes, brooms, pots. "
Right before the film programs, there will be audience discussions with film crews and other guests. Thus, not only screens are illuminated, but also space for discussions between film makers and enthusiasts is being created.
